Here's a great twist on a classic that delivers a surprisingly fresh taste you'll want again and again. One of our employees "discovered" this recipe when he ran out of the traditional ingredients for a Whiskey Sour... and hasn't shut up about it. There are many variations out there for the Maple Sour (and Canadian Sour), so feel free experiment and share your successes with us!
2 Point Coversion Jello Shots:

HOW TO:
The yellow lemon layer needs to be made first. Boil 1 cup of water and add the lemon jello packet to it, stirring until it is completely dissolved. Mix the vodka and 1/2 cup cold water(you can just use 1 cup cold vodka if you want it to be stronger). Pour into jello shot cups. (The jello shot funnel is a great tool to help you keep your kitchen clean.) Fill the cups about 2/3 of the way full and place them in the fridge to set. Let set for a least 2 hours before adding white layer.
For the white layer. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil, then mix in the condensed milk and set aside. Sprinkle the Gelatin into a 1/2 cup of cold water and let stand for a few minutes. Then boil 1/2 cup of water and add it to the gelatin mixture that you just made, stir until powder is dissolved. Now blend the condensed milk and gelatin mixtures together and let them cool to room temperature before pouring them over yellow layer. After it has started to set a little, top shots with sugar to give it that little extra touch. Leave in fridge for an hour or so.
