In this episode, Jon Taffer and his team visited Antioch, IL to try to rescue The Dirty Rooster. Jon and his experts made over the bar by giving it a new look, new theme, and a new name. The bar name was changed from “Dirty Rooster” to “Lake Marie Lodge”. Jon brought in the master mixology expert Raul Faria to help train the employees behind the bar and to create new signature cocktails. Raul created the “Raspberry Daiquiri” that's served in our BarConic® 7 ounce Coupe Glass. Raul also created the “Mulled Cider” that is served in our BarConic® 8 ounce Irish Coffee Mug.
Raspberry Daiquiri
- 1½ oz. Captain Morgan White Rum
- ¾ oz. Lime juice
- ¾ oz. Simple syrup
- 6 raspberries
- Glass: BarConic® 7 ounce Coupe Glass
- Garnish: Lime wheel
Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker glass including raspberries. Shake well. Double strain into coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Mulled Cider
- 1½ oz. Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum
- 5 oz. Hot cider (heated with cinnamon, fresh ginger, cloves)
- Glass: BarConic® 8 ounce Irish Coffee Mug
- Garnish: Cinnamon stick, green apple slices
Add Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum to mug. Fill with hot cider. Garnish with cinnamon stick and green apple slices.
