Underworld Grill and Bar - Las Vegas, NV
On this episode of Bar Rescue, Jon Taffer and his team revamped Underworld Grill and Bar in Las Vegas, NV. The owners, Kris Kaos and Jazz Bender, opened this horror themed bar, but the decorations and the bartender were rather repulsive to women. The bar was losing $2,500 a month and the end was near if things continued at their current pace.
Jon brought in mixology expert Russell Davis to train the bartending staff and to teach them the bar's new signature cocktails The Antidote, Lost Vegas, The Double Tap, and The Apocalypse.
The bar was revamped as a post-apocalyptic zombie bar called The End. Inside, the decor is astounding with custom murals of an apocalyptic Las Vegas covering the walls. Eight weeks after reopening as The End, sales are reported to be up 40% and the owners and employees are happy thanks to Jon and his team.
