Ele Lounge (Heat Restaurant & Lounge) – Hollywood, Florida
In 2012, Vin Durand and his wife Vanessa Santos opened up Heat Restaurant & Lounge in Hollywood, Florida. When the bar first opened, business was going very well - raking in $10-15 thousand a week. Unfortunately, Vin and Vanessa’s success was short-lived in the highly competitive market of Downtown Hollywood.
Jon Taffer bring in Phil Wills, the expert mixologist to train the Heat Restaurant & Lounge's employee behind the bar. Wills teaches them the basic bartending techniques and specialty cocktails. Wills has created two new signature cocktails called “Caribbean Dream” that is served in our BarConic® 8 ounce Alpine™ Rocks Glass and used the Bamboo Cocktail Picks to hold garnishes. The second cocktail called “TropiNINI”, this cocktail is served in our BarConic® 8 ounce Cocktail / Martini Glass. ¾ oz. Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum
½ oz. blackberry brandy
½ oz. crème de banana
2 oz. orange juice
½ oz. grenadine
Glass: BarConic® 8 ounce Alpine™ Rocks Glass
Garnish: blackberry/cherry skewer
* Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a blackberry/cherry skewer.
¾ oz. Smirnoff Citrus
½ oz. triple sec
½ oz. peach schnapps
1½ oz. pineapple juice
Glass: BarConic® 8 ounce Cocktail / Martini Glass
Garnish: ¼ oz. grenadine and orange slice
* Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with grenadine and orange slice.
