OLD IDEA

I picked up a couple of these because I like the idea of a cooling glass without melt problems and I wanted to see how they worked. As a novelty, they look great although they are a little tricky to drink from, just take it easy, watch the splash. The problem with the cooling chamber is it's shape doesn't allow the drink to have much contact with the melted ice that lies at the bottom of the cup where there is little room for the drink to contact the ice storage. My main beef is the ice storage cap leaks. Every time I raise the glass to drink, it leaks melt water, from the ice chamber into my lap. Unacceptable, I may try to find a suitable rubber o-ring (approx. 4") to stop the leak but design is no good by itself

HUGE FREEZE CUPS

These things are monsters, great fun. As described, the bottom is a lid where ice is placed, then you pour in your drink through the top. The top edge is thin enough to be comfortable to drink from without getting too messy. It's a novelty glass that looks cool. With the ice at the bottom, I'm not sure how well it cools but the design is fun. I think this may be my new Martini glass I'll just need to be careful with any garnishes. There is an edge, between the outer layer and the ice storage that is rather thin and hard to get to so I would advise cleaning or rinsing these immediately after use. I'm happy
