Featured Artist - Jason Kilthau

I'm Jason Kilthau and I have been somewhat of an artist off and on most of my life until about 2016. That is when I decided "You know what? I need to take my art a little bit more seriously!" Now, I would definitely still consider myself an amateur artist, but that is just fine, because I really love making a breakthrough when it comes to creating better art. And I hope I never stop learning how to create what I want to create in better ways. Which is Surreal and Fantasy Art, done digitally. I would also really love to spend some time learning how to model things in 3D so I could create much more in depth worlds! But that is for a later time..

As I was younger I always had this creative side to me, and I was lucky enough to have found a friend who also liked to draw and together we drew, a lot! But unfortunately for me, I ended up moving away from said friend and making new friends who had different hobbies that included playing outside. Now there is nothing wrong with that except that it totally put my art on the back burner, and it wasn't until much later into my adult life that I wanted to really pick my art back up again. Especially after reconnecting via Facebook with my childhood friend and seeing how he has now become a badass tattoo artist, yes Aaron if you're reading this I'm talking about you! I'm still jealous. So I busted out my old Wacom Intuos 3 and started drawing on the computer because I didn't want to just draw, I wanted to learn how to make my art pop and come to life (something I'm still learning, bear with me).

And that brings us to where I am now, I am a father of two little girls and husband to a wonderful wife who supports what I am trying to do with my art while working a totally non art related full time job!

I have a lot of ideas and ways I want to bring my art to life, but in the end I just want to create worlds and stories that people will enjoy.
